What Are Sparklers?

Sparklers are handheld mini fireworks attached to a metal wire, making them safe and easy to hold. What Sizes of Sparklers Do You Stock?

We stock sparklers in the following sizes:

As a general guide, the longer the sparkler, the longer it will burn.

  • 4-inch sparklers: approximately 20 seconds

  • 18-inch sparklers: up to 90 seconds

Can I Use Sparklers Indoors?

Yes, but only if you use the correct type. We stock both Indoor Sparklers and Outdoor Sparklers.

If you're planning an indoor celebration, always choose sparklers specifically designed for indoor use. You'll find a wide range of suitable options on our website.

What Is the Best Way to Hold a Sparkler?

Always hold your sparkler by the metal handle, keeping your hand well away from the burning end. Keep the lit sparkler at arm's length and away from your face, clothing and other people.

Do I Need Any Safety Equipment?

Yes. We recommend using a sparkler safety kit to help ensure safe use and disposal.

Our safety kit includes:

  • A sturdy metal bucket for filling with sand and safely disposing of used sparklers
  • A safety lighter suitable for lighting sparklers and fireworks
  • A pair of protective gloves

Is It Safe to Put Sparklers on Cakes and Other Food?

Yes. Our cake sparklers are food-safe and specifically designed for use on cakes and desserts.

  • 7 inches long
  • Available in a variety of shapes, including letters, numbers, hearts, stars and standard straight sparklers

All of our cake sparklers produce a stunning golden sparkle effect.

Which Sparklers Are Best for Children's Birthday Parties?

For children's celebrations, we recommend medium-length sparklers between 7 inches and 14 inches.

These sizes typically burn for around 30 to 40 seconds, making them easy to hold while providing plenty of time to enjoy the display. Children should always be closely supervised by a responsible adult when using sparklers.

Do Sparklers Come in Different Colours?

Yes! Traditional sparklers, including our wedding and cake sparklers, produce beautiful golden sparks.
